Each mill has its own oxidation look because the outcome of the metal oxidation process is always one of a kind.

Set of two different sized brass mills, sea salt, black peppers
After a while brass oxidizes, so to make brass shine again - polish the top of the mill (only polished brass detail) with fresh lemon juice, rinse with water, and polish with soft cotton or microfiber cloth.
